Questions

Straight answers.

What founders ask us before the first call. If yours isn’t here, ask it on the call.

Before you start

Who is this for?
B2B founders whose deals start with a conversation, who are the face of their company (or want to be), and who care more about the right fifty people than five thousand impressions, and who win customers worth $10,000 a year or more. It’s not for anyone who wants maximum volume, sells to consumers, or needs results guaranteed by a date.
Will people know it isn’t me writing?
This is ghostwriting, the same way many founders work with a writer or a comms team. Everything is written from your perspective and in your voice, from a brief you approve, and you can tell us anything you’d rather handle yourself.
What do you need from me to start?
An hour for an onboarding call, ten minutes to approve your one-page voice brief, and your LinkedIn account connected through a secure sign-in. If you’re on the Full program, we also set up dedicated email domains, which needs a few DNS records you or your IT person can add.
How much of my time does it take once it’s running?
A few minutes a week: read your Monday brief and reply to the conversations we start. Once someone’s talking to you, the relationship is yours.

How it works

Do I approve every comment and message?
Your editor approves everything, so you don’t have to. You approve the voice brief they work from, and your portal shows everything that went out. If you’d rather see something first, like a message to a particular account, tell us.
Who actually writes it?
Software finds the posts and people worth your time and writes a first draft. Your editor reads every draft, rewrites or cuts what isn’t right, and approves what goes out. Drafts that break your brand rules never go out.
What happens when someone replies?
Your editor drafts a first reply in your voice and approves it like everything else, then the conversation is yours.
Can I change my voice or focus later?
Yes. New opinions, topics to avoid, a change of focus: tell your editor and the brief is updated. Changes apply from then on.

Your LinkedIn account

Do you need my LinkedIn password?
No. You connect your account through a secure sign-in page run by our LinkedIn integration partner, and we never see your password. You can end our access at any time. See Security & your account for how.
Is this safe for my account?
We work carefully: a small number of considered comments and messages each day, new accounts warmed up slowly over weeks, and sending stops automatically if LinkedIn pushes back. Nobody can promise LinkedIn will never restrict an account, and we won’t. You can pause everything yourself, at any time, from your portal.
Do you read my messages?
When outreach is running, we read new messages in your LinkedIn inbox so your editor can draft first replies to people who answer. On Presence, which is comments only, we don’t. You can ask us to switch inbox handling off.

Results

How soon will I see anything?
The first month is mostly setup: the voice brief, account warm-up and, on the Full program, email domains. Comments usually start in the first week or two; outreach once your account is warmed up. Judge it over three months, which is why that’s the minimum term.
What will I actually see?
A brief every Monday: what went out, who replied and what we’re changing. Your portal shows the same, any time, including every comment and message sent on your behalf.
Can you guarantee meetings or a number of leads?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We can promise careful, consistent work and honest reporting. If after the minimum term it isn’t working for you, we’ll say so too.

Pricing and contract

What does it cost?
Presence from $1,500, Pipeline from $2,750, Full program from $3,750 a month, billed in USD (Canadian clients can pay in CAD). The Full program has a one-time $750 setup for email domains and inboxes. See what each package includes.
What’s the founding-client rate?
Our first 5 clients get 25% off for their first 6 months. In return, we ask to write up your results once there are some to show; you see and approve anything before it’s published.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
The first three months, then month to month.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Publishing stops, our access to your accounts is removed, and you can ask us to delete your data. Some records, like billing and the audit log, have to be kept for a period. Email hello@aethrel.com.

Twenty minutes, no pitch deck.

We’ll look at your LinkedIn together and tell you straight whether we can help. If we can’t, we’ll say so.
